SECRETS. he has never wanted the throne - he would have been content being in the labs or teaching. him joining the avengers etc was to see if they are a threat - him staying was his own way of rebelling (doing what he wanted) without giving up the throne/straying from what he is meant to do.

ABILITIES / POWERS. divine empowerment, black panther knowledge, superhumanly acute senses, peak human strength, peak human speed, stamina, durability, agility, and reflexes. healing ability, necromancy, and hyper-cosmic awareness. master martial artist. master acrobat. expert marksman. inventor, tracker, and hunter.
RESTRICTIONS. due to his heightened senses, bright lights, loud noises, & strong smells can potentially overwhelm him. he is still human - not immortal. so he can die from old age or a sickness that belies wakandan intelligence or his high immunity/healing.
SENSES .
SCENT(S). blue lotus. earthen spices and the blazing sun casts across the soil. leather being pounded into a rhythmic beat. the scent of feasts and of fasts. the aroma of faded incense burned and worshipped to the gods & goddess. the waft of herbal teas and remedy medicines filled with rustic grasses and flowers, ground and pressed. musk with a whisp of clean cologne and the barely whispered taste of jasmine. roaring metallic tinge with the scent of wild forest & cool refreshing spring.
SOUND(S). a roar echoing across the african plane. vibrations of an engine. nails scratching across a chalk chalkboard. the swift sound of wind through the trunks of a forest. tribal drums. the low hum of a deep african voice. purrs deep within a cat content. fingers gliding across a keyboard.
SIGHT(S). a vacant village overrun by forest. a vast land of sand. dazzlingly lights hung across a large room. reflecting its shimmering glow. the sun rising over a river. skyscrapers & tall buildings. an armory shrouded in shadows. alleyway filled with cats. the tail end of a panther through afraican grass. three am lit room, with wall windows, scattered tools about the room. a rock hidden amongst the shadows, a butterfly resting peacefully atop.
SENSATION(S). fingers brushed against leather. smooth juts of a block of mineral. toes sunken deep into the sand. adrenaline pumped through the body in excitement and nervousness. the rush of victory.
set or seth is a god of the desert, storms, disorder, violence, and foreigners. not one of the orisha’s that the wakandan’s worship. in spite & in the carnage of the old religion being spun through the doors opened across wakanda. seth took revenge upon the orisha’s (bast, thoth, pitah, mujaji, and kokou) by setting his sights on wakanda. t'challa, king & black panther, has worked with changmire & the elders to sedate seth and bring forth the gods of their old. but his wrath has ventured beyond africa. now t'challa, amongst friends & foes, have to work together to fight a god.
black panther. is the ancestral ceremonial title of t’challa, the king of wakanda. t’challa splits his time between protecting his kingdom, with the aid of his elite female royal guard, the dora milaje, and helping protect the entire world, as a member of superhero teams such as the avengers and the ultimates. the african nation wakanda is the most technologically advanced society on the globe. it sits upon a large deposit of an extremely rare natural resource called vibranium. wakanda long boasted of having never been conquered, but recent events - a biblical flood that killed thousands, a coup orchestrated by doctor doom, an invasion by the villain thanos—have humbled the kingdom.
after the events of civil war. t’challa returned back home, in time to bury his father’s body. a ceremonial passing that occurred within the heart of wakanda. within the timeframe of the ritual, t’challa would have undergone the passages to officially become the king of wakanda, leader of the panther tribe, and the black panther. t’challa will fight wakandan’s finest champions (this can go for days) and only when he has defeated them that he will embark on a journey to the jungle to seek the sacred heart-shaped herb, obtaining it and facing the judgement of the panther god bast. it is only then that the prince of wakanda can fully claim his right to the throne.
Mr Okonkwo. founder of the resistance & member of the republic, leader of his tribe. a nation of warrior women and men that occupy the planet bast. he joined the resistance purely to use their intelligence and weaponry to find his brother who had been taken from his family & forced to join as a stormtrooper. t’challa has studied all possible fighting skills of the galaxy. trained with the best & fought the best. he is not a jedi & is unable to use the force. he has worked his whole life tirelessly to bring his only remaining family back home while supporting the band of people that look up to him as a leader, & dealing business to fund the resistance.
t’challa, born to t’chaka, the leader of the wakandan nation on an uncharted island. lived in privacy & secluded from the rest of the world. until the day his father was murdered on board of the bast. killed by a man named klaw, a one-handed pirate ordered to murder the leader to gather the precious and expensive resource - vibranium. once news travelled back of the death of the once king of wakanda. t’challa embarked on his own ship in search of the man named klaw. set on revenge and fueled by rage. he fell in love, became a man, & returned home with half the crew members he left with. he earned the title of king, leader of the warrior nation & captain of the panther crew. spending his days protecting his homeland from invaders & venturing out at sea.
the udaku’s are a very old & powerful family of shadowhunters. centuries ago, the first udaku, bashenga, found his tribe overrun by demons - after defeating them he shortly began his training to become a shadowhunter. from there he built an african institute in wakanda. each daughter and son at a young age, would begin training to become a shadowhunter. to protect africa from demons & unruly downworlders. t’challa, son of t’chaka, along with his sister shuri are the last of the udaku line. both trained to become fierce warriors & leaders. t’challa earned the right to the title of head of the wakandan shadowhunters & has spent from his early twenties to present overseeing the institute and leading the panther tribe. which has often lead him to wonder globally - appearing into other institutes about the world - & joining up with other teams.
