this is my main arc for any type of magical blogs. whether that be the harry potter fandom (marauders era included), magic oc’s, witches of east end, and any other magic like fandoms. this is not a group verse nor a private one. it is for anyone who wishes to write in this arc. please note that most information (aside from the incorporation of wakanda/t’challa) are taken from here.

A THOUSAND YEARS OF MAGIC.

africa is home to a couple of wizarding schools. however, only one has stood the test of time and achieved an enviable international reputation: uagadou. one of the largest wizarding schools and is open to anyone that desires to study in the heat of africa. but to find this place is tricky. only those that have been invited know where to go. for the school lies upon the  ‘mountains of the moon.’

students receive notice that they have gained entrance at uagadou from dream messengers, sent by the headmaster or headmistress of the day. the dream messenger will appear to the children as they sleep and will leave a token, usually an inscribed stone, which is found in the child’s hand on waking. no other school employs this method of pupil selection.

much like other schools adopting a single headmaster or headmistress. uagadou has adopted a three person in charge. the two spots are held by one headmaster and one headmistress. the last is reserved for the king or queen of wakandan who were the original founders of uagadou. it had originally been a safe house for those that needed it and soon flourished into the school it is today.

the mountains of the moon is situated at the north-west corner of wakanda. surrounded by a deadly jungle and in the center is the wizarding school. shrouded in mist and unknown to wakandans and the muggle world.
